Rockstar Games – Rumors and hints: Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition

Hints on Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy The Definitive Edition is available within the Rockstar Launcher (PC software) and within the Social Club – texts and images of Achievements and Texts are found (). The logos that were found display Grand Theft Auto 3: The Definitive Edition, Grand Theft Auto Vice City the Definitive Edition, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas the Definitive Edition. The other information suggests that the three versions will be based on The Unreal Engine. Rockstar Games has not officially released the game collection as of yet.

In August, there was talk regarding remasters of Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (). The three games will all be enhanced with Unreal Engine. Unreal Engine will feature a mix of “new and old graphics.” One source who claims to’ve witnessed parts of the game playing stated that the graphics reminded him of a highly altered version of a classic GTA game. The game’s users’ interfaces will be improved. However, it will still have the same style. According to Kotaku, the remasters will be “as close as is possible” as the original PS2 GTA games. The development will likely be overseen by Rockstar Dundee (Scotland).
