Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition: Big chaos at PC launch

The day of yesterday’s Thursday (November 11, 2021) could be an actual cause for GTA fans to rejoice. In the end, the first signal for selling Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for consoles and PCs was announced. But, just after the launch, the big chaos began to break out, in the case of at least those in the PC faction.

It began with Rockstar Games announcing maintenance work on the servers hosting Rockstar Launcher. Rockstar Launcher last night. This is not uncommon. After a short period, the servers were offline and had not been restarted. Typically maintenance work like this will not last more than a couple of hours. However, it can last for longer than 18 hours in the meantime.

In addition, it means that gamers are unable to begin playing or start GTA Trilogy – Definitive Edition that they just bought. Additionally, it is also the case that PC versions of the different Rockstar game titles also suffer from the issue. Want to play Red Dead Redemption 2? It is currently not available for computers… Do you want to get an opportunity to play GTA 5 on an iPad? Don’t worry about it…

The developers have made their voices heard on Twitter, asking for patience and understanding of the current problems.

“Thank us for all your patience and patience while we make efforts to restore service on that of the Rockstar Games Launcher as well as games that are supported.”

We appreciate being patient and understanding while we work towards getting back services for the launcher Rockstar Games as well as other supported games.

At this point, there’s no way to know how long it’ll be before the servers restart, and it will take for the Launcher to resume operation. Therefore, many PC gamers cannot launch any game from Rockstar. People on other platforms aren’t as happy with the new version. For instance, there’s a viral thread about how Rockstar Games should be “ashamed” of GTA Trilogy. The test is being developed.
