Grand Theft Auto 5 – GTA Online: Major update “Los Santos Tuners” released
To be used in GTA Online as part of Grand Theft Auto 5 (), the significant (free) new content upgrade has been available today, titled “Los Santos Tuners.” “Los Santos Tuners” is focused on the underground scene of Los Santos and includes new vehicles, missions for cars, and the popular social-tuner hangout “LS Car Meet.” The meeting is in an abandoned building near the edge of Cypress Flats. This is a non-violent venue (no PvP). Up to 30 players can gather to display their modified cars and view or modify other vehicles in real-time and test bolides on a test track. The Rockstar Editor is also a part of the LS Car Meet.
The update also features new races, including a car workshop that functions as a control room, six multi-part missions (raids) connected to the tuning scene, and ten customizable vehicles. There will be more vehicles shortly. Additionally, there will be new ways to store music on media sticks. Radio stations can be added to favorites lists starting today.
Rockstar Games: “Mimi runs the LS Car Meet. Mimi is effectively the spokesperson of the LS tuning scene, assisting novice Car Meet members get up to speed and establish the Car Meet reputation. She gives them access to many benefits for members, discounts, and other features, like the brand new test track where they can try new cars, test drive cars that aren’t released yet, compete in the challenge for prize vehicles and alter vehicles with friends. Members can also compete in the streets in the form of street and chase races and many more. (…) Moodymann, a DJ on the premises of Music Locker and car aficionado by nature, is not a stranger to the tuning scene and often appears at the Meet to find criminal opportunities while in disguise as Kenny (aka KDJ). Kenny and his partner Sessanta has a lucrative business opportunity for all brave drivers: they could take part in a string of exciting heists so long as they possess an official business presence that is easily modifiable and fully functional automobile repair service. After an auto repair facility has been established in the tuning world, it is possible for the owner to organize an entirely new series of bombastic Heists (missions) as well as participate in street races with a high profile, car heists, and more – whether solo or in a group. ”
GTA Online is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android and PC. Through backward compatibility it’s also available via PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Next-gen updates to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S are scheduled to be released in the autumn. “Los Santos Tuners is a new approach to radios and new ways to locate and enjoy music while driving around. Los Santos Tuners has many things to offer audiophiles, from a diverse new mix and exclusive tracks by Music Locker DJ Moodymann, to the launch of CircoLoco Records’ Monday Dreamin’ track, to the brand-new mix of CircoLoco Records alumnus Seth Troxler and much more. Moodymann might have quit the club scene to join the road. However, he’s still producing new music, but this time under the name of his car-related alias Kenny and KDJ. The four sticks that you find will unlock the unique DJ mix that includes: CircoLoco artist Seth Troxler dissects all 20 tracks of”Monday Dreamin’. “Monday Dreamin'” compilation into their elements, then remixes them, and then blends them to make a fresh seamless and seamless DJ mix. It’s exclusive only to Los Santos Tuners and also will mark the launch for”the CircoLoco Records project in the game.”
